EVALUATION OF THE EDUCATIONAL EFFECTS

 

At the end of the course the student receives a final crediting grade that comprises two equal parts:

  1. The amount of points gained for the work and tasks related to scientific/technical texts: 50% of a final grade
  2. The amount of points achieved for a final test assignment: 50% of a final grade

The final grade is an arithmetic mean derived from the percentage of points received, according to the scale below:

In order to get a final grade the student needs to have tangible achievements in all elements of evaluation. 

 

LEVEL B2+
   
The evaluation of subject educational effects achievement at B2+level is based on points given by the teacher for:

  • work with the use of authentic, professional texts, plans and specifications: vocabulary acquisition and grammatical and lexical tasks (grammar constructions and vocabulary characteristic of scientific and technical language), connected with the texts read both during the classes and at home; oral and/or written statements – e.g. on topics concerning scientific and technical issues, related to students’ field of study and related disciplines; reports based on scientific research
  • final test, controlling the skills practiced during the classes and at home, in accordance with the programme of the course (traditional or e-test)


The detailed criteria for the tasks related to scientific/technical texts are established by the teacher.


LEVEL C1+ (only English language)


The evaluation of subject educational effects achievement at C1+ level is based on points given by the teacher for:
