MONDIALE TESTS

 

The Mondiale Online Technical English Test  (MOTET ) and the Mondiale Online Technical German Test (MOFAD: Fachsprachentest Deutsch)  provide an assessment of a person’s foreign language competence across the Council of Europe levels B1, B2 and C1.  The overall performance is documented in the form of a language profile providing evidence of a person’s individual language skills listening comprehension, reading comprehension, speaking and writing. The tests enable candidates to get international language qualifications in the area of technical and exact sciences.

When registering for the exam  candidates can choose the area they want to take a speaking or writing part.

 

   

 

Test Format:

Writing Test (online)
Speaking Test (phone or web conference platform)

Candidates take the written test online at an accredited MONDIALE Test Center.

3.       General Technical English Module (online) + Writing Test (online) + Speaking Test (phone / web conference)

Task Types:

General Technical English Module
50 Multiple Choice tasks based on vocabulary and structures
10 Multiple Choice listening comprehension tasks
10 Multiple Choice reading comprehension tasks

Writing Test
Based on a specialist area (cf. above). Candidates chose their specialist area on registration.
Two tasks from a list of different types of text.

Speaking Test
Based on a specialist area (cf. above). Candidates chose their specialist area on registration.
Two tasks (monologue / dialogue) chosen from a list of different spoken language genres.

Timing:

General Technical English Module: Online – 70 minutes
Writing Test: Online – 60 minutes
Speaking Test: Phone / web conference platform – 15 minutes
